About Social Networking

These little buttons allow you to share, bookmark, and save your favorite Homegrown Music articles and features.

Here's how they work:

Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, and Newsvine Buttons

These are sites/services that link to popular articles all over the Web rather than publishing their own. They're cool for two reasons: First, they're constantly updated. Second, their headlines are all generated by users like you who submit stories they think are cool. After a story has been submitted, anyone else who "diggs" it can vote for it.

Clicking on these buttons will submit an article, or, if the article has already been submitted, will register your vote for it. To use these buttons, you'll need an account for each site.

Del.icio.us, Ma.gnolia, My Google, and My Yahoo! Buttons

These buttons are for articles you find on Homegrown Music that you want to keep forever. If you come across an article that you want to save, just bookmark it by clicking on the Del.icio.us, My Google, or My Yahoo! button, and you'll save it right on the Web to access from anywhere.

You must have an account with one of the sites to use these buttons.

Facebook & MySpace Buttons

The idea is that when you're reading or watching something that you think is cool, you don't have to copy and paste the URL back into Facebook or MySpace in order to share the link with your friends. Instead, with one click you get to check out a preview, choose how you want to share it, and then distribute it. You will need a Facebook or MySpace account to use these buttons.
